Who we are
Codesters is the name under which Abdelrahman Atef, an individual software developer in Egypt, works. He is responsible for your data. For anything about your data, write to quote@codesters-inc.com.
What this covers
The "price your app" pages, the request status page and the simple contact form on this site. It does not cover the apps we build for clients.
What we collect, and when
- While you answer: your answers are saved in your browser, on your device only, so you can come back to them. Nothing reaches us until you ask for a verification code. Your email and phone number are not saved on your device. That copy is cleared when you send, or when you press "forget this device".
- When you ask for a code: your email address, so we can send you a 6-digit code. We keep a scrambled form of the code, not the code itself, until it expires after 10 minutes.
- When you send: your verified email, your mobile number with its country, your answers (app type, platforms, features, user roles, style choices, app name, logo link, how it earns, timeline, readiness, expected users), up to 5 links and your notes. We calculate the estimate from these answers.
- The status link: your browser keeps it for this tab only, unless you tick "remember on this device".
- The simple contact form: your name, email and message. They are emailed to Abdelrahman, and the site keeps no copy.
What we do not collect
No account, password, card or bank details. No cookies, no analytics or advertising tools, and no fonts or scripts loaded from other sites. We do not store your IP address or device details with your request. To stop abuse we keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address and email for 24 hours only. Like any website, our hosting company's servers record visitors' IP addresses in their logs.
Why we use it
To prepare the estimate and a work plan, to contact you about your request, to show its status, and to protect the service from abuse. We rely on your consent when you send, and on steps you ask for before any agreement. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for ads or marketing.
Who sees your data
- Abdelrahman Atef. No other person sees it.
- AI tools: to prepare your offer, we may process the text of your request (answers, app name, links and notes) with AI tools, such as Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini (USA), without your email or phone number. We do not promise how those providers treat the text beyond their own terms. Please do not put passwords, secrets or other people's personal data in your notes.
- Hostinger: hosts the site, stores your request and sends our emails. Its servers are in the data centre of our hosting plan.
- GitHub (Microsoft), USA: our private task records and their backups may contain the text of your request, without your email or phone number.
- An authority, only when the law requires it.
Transfers outside Egypt
Some of these services are outside Egypt (the USA, and the Hostinger data centre our plan runs in), so your data is processed there. We follow the transfer rules of Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
How long we keep it
- Verification code: until it expires (10 minutes).
- Abuse counters: 24 hours.
- A request that does not become an agreement: deleted 12 months after you send it.
- A request that becomes a project: kept for the project and its support period, then deleted 30 days after it closes, as clause 11 of codesters-inc.com/en/terms/ says.
- Records of acceptance and payment: only as long as the law requires.
- These periods also apply to our copy on Abdelrahman's computer.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it or delete it, withdraw your consent, or object. Write to quote@codesters-inc.com from the address you used, and we reply within 30 days at most. Deleting your request ends the quote. You can also complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center.
Security
The connection is encrypted (HTTPS). Requests are stored outside the public part of the site. Your private status link is stored on our server only in scrambled form. If a breach affects your data, we tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This service is for people aged 18 or over. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian to send the request.
Changes
Each version is dated at the top of this page. If we change something important, we email everyone with an open request.
Do Not Track
We do not track you at all, so this signal changes nothing.
